With the inspiration of one very lovely customer and the antiqued look of Degas’ ballerinas in oil, I tea-stained and dip-dyed this tulle skirt in misty rose and romance. I wanted it to look as if a ballerina were lost in the woods and running through rose-colored mud.
And naturally I had fun with the photoshoot since this will be the last week of my blonde hair before I return it to its natural darkened state for winter. RIP California-living (more on that in my next post!) and tow-headed locks.
Happy twirling.

Great job at creating such a gorgeous-cooured tulle skirt – I think you captured the look just as you planed. And stunning photos :)
Thank you so much!! I wish the colors would’ve come out a little stronger in the photos (they are much more antiqued and saturated in person), but oh well – one day I will have better lighting and less need to Photoshop! ;)
wow! very pretty!!!!
