In the opening scene of Sex and the City, you’ll spy a lovely little $5 tutu that Sarah Jessica Parker unearthed at a vintage shop. I’ve always fancied it (along with her entire wardrobe), so I decided to recreate it. Layers and layers and tiers of white or ivory tulle over a silk crepe de chine lining with a satin sash to tie in the back or the front available in my Etsy store or my new online shop.

By the way, I completely forgot to tell you that I designed/started my own online store! I love Etsy, but their transaction fees on top of PayPal’s have been getting me down big time. Plus, I just wanted to make my tutu boutique a little more…me. Here it is!
