Finally! A flattering and flirty silhouette is trending. Originally popularized in the 1940s and then again in the 80s, the peplum dress is making a comeback. Both Spring and Fall runways were awash with vintage-inspiration; accented ruffled hips sashayed for the likes of Badgley Mischka, Jason Wu, and Cushnie et Ochs.

Naturally we can’t all afford thousands for the designer versions, but what’s to say we can’t dip into the past and bargain hunt this ultra feminine look, vintage-style? I scouted Etsy for the prettiest of peplums and unearthed the cream of the crop. Ranging from under $50 to $225, all of these peplum dresses are authentically vintage and beautifully designed.
