Fresh off the animated heels of a post by I Get A Kick Out of You, I just couldn’t help putting up my own favorite cinemagraphs. There is something that is simply dreamy about a still scene with a slowly moving object; like you are let in on a secret that the rest of the world cannot see. Or that the fabric of time has warped around you, and only you, the spinning globe, and the rustling curtain are living the moment. Quite romantic, I think.
Enjoy these stunningly ethereal cinemagraphs: they effect even more nostalgia when taken with a glass of Moscato and a Beach House record playing in the background.
For more dreamy cinemagraphs and a photography blog you’ll surely become obsessed with, head to From Me To You. It’s written and designed by Jamie, a fantastic photog in NYC who just so happens to love all things DIY and vintage.
Bisous.

wow! I love the one with the car in the window (the second one), it is really dreamy! :-)
I love that one, sigh. Speaking of Paris-like cafes…(I think this is in NYC); I want to go to there!
